Due to a few cancellations, there is some availability at Abernethy over the next month. Take advantage of these calm Spring days and head to Keswick. The weekends of Feb 28th and March 14th are both currently free.

Spring is a beautiful season in the Lake District; lambs are jumping around the fields and fells, daffodils are blooming and tourists are returning following the quieter winter months. Keswick is a great place to be in the spring, with plenty going on for a trip with friends or family.

However you choose to unwind, the Lakes has something for everyone. I had a glorious dip - if v chilly - in Bassenthwaite today. Derwentwater is a 15 min stroll - or 5min jog - from the door of Abernethy. Perfect time to warm up pre-dip and run back for a hot shower afterwards!

What an amazing few weeks in the Lake District! Keswick and the surrounding fells and lakes have all looked stunning in the glorious sunshine. The waters are warm and the market has even had a 'sun hat' stall.
