Hospitality Assured Hospitality Assured is the quality standard created by the Institute of Hospitality specifically for customer facing businesses.

Every business has the responsibility of meeting customer expectations in relation to the products and services they offer and how they are delivered. The Hospitality Assured Standard anticipates that its users will regularly evaluate their business activities and appraise their performance in a challenging and constructive fashion, thereby improving their customers’ service experience. It is the

only Standard within the Hospitality Industry that focuses on the customer experience and continuous improvement. The Standard is compiled in a fashion that allows it to act as guide for service excellence wherever customer facing services are delivered. It is not prescriptive and the 9 steps can be applied to a range of service environments. Organisations achieving Hospitality Assured are demonstrating that they are embodying outstanding performance and that in offering a service they make every effort to meet and exceed customer expectations. Such organisations show a willingness to constantly improve the service offer and where there has been a mismatch of expectations they have the capacity and desire to resolve service issues. The Standard is about working towards excellence in every aspect of service and business delivery.
