In previous years as part of my Tour Guiding I visited here often and it was always very busy. Different today, there is me, a few cyclists and another couple having a picnic like myself. Sad to see it like this but amazing to be able to sit and appreciate the architecture old and new of the buildings surrounding me. Hopefully by next season it will be buzzing with people once again.
If you have never been put it on your to do list.

So, with extra time on my hands this summer I decided to try a stay vacation. Found a great self catering house in Donaghadee and rediscovered a part of North Down where I spent many happy family holidays as a much younger person. Have a look. I will be returning.

This was my office today. On tour with a lovely group of Americans from the Princess Cruiseship. This is Glenariff Forest Park. We had a great view across to Scotland. The bluebells on route were to be seen to believed.
