Changeover days are ‘Grafty’. 🤯😅

Our small but mighty team is the BEST in the game and I jumped on the tools today to give a hand. 🧹🛏️🧺

There’s the cleaning, the laundry, the checking, the fixing, hot tub changes and the rushing around trying to make everything perfect for our next guests…

But then you notice the little things. 🌿

The sunshine catching the flowers.
A robin hopping around the garden.
The smell of fresh linen.
A perfectly made bed waiting for someone’s weekend escape.
The view out of the window that makes you stop for just a second…

And suddenly, amongst the chaos, you remember exactly why we do it and how far we have come. 🤍

Because the small moments really are the beautiful ones.

***SECRET *** While we’ll miss the crackle of the fire and the ritual of heating it up, the new electric tub means it’s always ready to enjoy, keeps a consistent temperature, and is more reliable for our guests—whatever the weather.

The same incredible private space, the same peaceful escape, just with a little more comfort and convenience not forgetting you can now bring your four legged fur baby in this beauty.

We can’t wait for you to sink in, relax, and enjoy the experience at the Secret Roundhouse. 💦🌅 A few breaks still left for the Summer.

The Secret Roundhouse (exclusive for couples) is set in its own private garden tucked away from the main site. With a nod to the East Thorne Heritage there are plenty of ‘outdoorsy’ elements to this beautiful Roundhouse. Here you’ll find your own wood-fired hot tub to tend (round of course!), ...

Whether it’s a morning wander, a family adventure, or simply sitting back and listening to the birds, spending time outdoors helps us slow down, reset, and feel a little more connected.

That’s one of the things we love most about East Thorne. With countryside all around and the coast just a stone’s throw away, it’s the perfect place to switch off and enjoy the simple pleasure of being outside.
