🍅 North Norfolk Food & Drink Festival at Holkham Hall is back on 30 & 31 August!
Two flavour-packed days celebrating local producers, artisan treats and family fun and it’s free to enter!

If you’re travelling from Fakenham / King’s Lynn / Hunstanton (and villages in between) then why not choose the bus to get there.

🚌 The Coastliner 36 operated by runs a regular service stopping right outside the hall.
🚌 The last bus back to Fakenham is at 6:14pm (Saturday and Sunday)
🚌 The last bus back to King’s Lynn is at 7:41pm (Saturday) 6:41pm (Sunday)

Plus regular connections at Wells-next-the-sea with the Sanders Coasthopper service means you can also travel by bus to Holkham from Cromer, Mudesley and North Walsham.

If you are travelling as a family then be sure to ask for the Group Coast Day ticket. For £22 a group of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) get unlimited travel on all Lynx buses (including Coastliner 36) and Sanders Coaches bus services within Norfolk.

It is no secret in my house that I love Christmas and getting to put a festive touch to these beautiful lodges has been a joy. Here is Avocet lodge all ready to welcome its guests in all it golden glory.

*** WELCOME HOME ***
We have just heard the familiar sound, of the first small group of Pink-footed geese overhead, a welcome sound, after an absence since early Spring. The cackling flock quickly transports me back to my childhood, where we would run out to see the huge flocks make their final descent onto the marshes of Snettisham Beach. Best seen in big numbers from November to February, I for one can't wait to stand on the terraces of Ingol and Avocet lodge and watch them swam ahead .
