SUP and Sit on Top Kayak hire at Kinghorn Loch

Finally a lower wind Saturday! It allows us to open this Saturday 31st May..

It is priced at £10 per hour, per person, with board or kayak with buoyancy aid provided. All you need to do is turn up with clothing and footwear your happy to get wet! A towel is probably a good idea😂.

All paddlers need to take care not to disturb wildlife and other users.. full explanation will be given along with a safety briefing before you head out.

This year we will be providing SUP and Sit on Top Kayak hire at Kinghorn Loch.

It is priced at £10 per hour, per person, with board or kayak and buoyancy aid provided. All you need to do is book then turn up with clothing and footwear your happy to get wet! A towel is probably a good idea😂.

All paddlers need to take care not to disturb wildlife and other users.. full explanation will be given along with a safety briefing before you head out.

It will initially be at weekends but if the demand is there weekdays will be provided.

Dates and timings will be weather dependent, mostly the wind speed.. We will post up early in the week with a booking link.

Morning paddlers!

I have had a request from Peter at Scurry Events.. see below and hopefully some out there can help..

Kayakers/ Paddleboarders wanted to support the Lochore Scurry Swims event on Saturday the 31st May.

All Volunteers will get the race ‘memento’ for helping plus a post race snack and Scurry Events (the organisers of the Off Road tri) will make a donation to your club and or an individual £40 helpers fee.
As before - Just bring yourself and usual paddling kit for going on the water (you need your own kayak/paddleboard / kit). The support role is to assist any swimmers who get into difficulties by guiding them to the shore or the safety boat where there will be qualified lifeguards/first aiders. So the only pre-requisite is that you need to be a competent paddler (probably 3* or above).

I can pass on more information and timings for each event nearer the time.
