Delivered full-time at Lakes College, the programme combines practical workshop learning with classroom-based study to prepare learners for a career in engineering.

Today we were in Immingham for our Humber Regional Forum.

We were joined by guest speakers Rob Smith, Asset Support Manager at INEOS and Mark Riley, ECITB Board Member and Project Controls Lead at Phillips 66. Representatives from the Department for Work and Pensions - DWP also dialled in to share insight into the current consultation.

A huge congratulations to our Modern Apprentices from Forth Valley College on this fantastic achievement. 👏

We’re excited to see them continue their journey towards becoming fully qualified Engineering Technicians!

A group of Engineering Construction Industry Training Board Modern Apprentices from Forth Valley College are taking the next step in their careers after completing two years of study. 🔧

The 12 apprentices, representing employers including WoodGroup ltd., CB&I, Semco Maritime and PBS by Ponticelli, have completed their HNC and SVQ Level 2 qualifications and recently finished offshore survival training. They will now move into workplace roles, both offshore and onshore, as they continue towards SVQ Level 3 and becoming fully qualified Engineering Technicians.
