Greyhomes & Start Bay Bungalows Five well appointed holiday bungalows & two spacious art deco/contemporary apartments in a unique and magical setting overlooking Torcross & Start Bay

My grandfather, Robert, stumbled on this idyllic setting in 1920. Driven by his dreams, inspired by a popular WW1 ballad, he created 'Greyhomes'. Five bungalows, completely renovated today, were privately set in rambling lawns, terraces and rock gardens with stunning views of Slapton Sands and Start Bay. Towards the end of the twenties he completed the small hotel in a colonial and art deco style,

now converted with two elegant holiday apartments. Surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty and leading onto miles of glorious coastal walks .
