Day 1: UK - Montecatini Terme
Your trip begins at your UK departure airport before flying to Italy and touching down at Pisa Airport; from here you’ll transfer to your hotel and settle in. (Meals: dinner)
Day 2: Florence
After breakfast in the hotel you’ll hop on a train and travel to Florence, the centre of Renaissance art, where you’ll soak up the city’s 2,000 years of history with a guided walking tour; highlights include Repubblica Square, Loggia Del Mercato Nuovo, Ponte Vecchio, Signoria Square and more. Before getting a train back to Montecatini Terme, you have the option of buying tickets to an extra guided tour of the Uffizi. (Meals: breakfast and dinner)
Day 3: Pisa
On your third day you'll have breakfast at the hotel and then catch a train to Pisa. The city is yours to explore at your leisure. Visit the Piazza Del Duomo and Campo Dei Miracoli, and if you can’t help yourself, the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa always needs tourists to take photos while pretending to hold it up. Having basked in the rich culture of the city, you’ll get a train back to Montecatini Terme. (Meals: breakfast and dinner)
Day 4: Montecatini Terme
On day four you’ll finally have some time to get out and about in Montecatini. This beautiful and peaceful hilltop town is famed for its centuries-old thermal waters. Go and relax in one of the various spas and thermal baths in the city, like The Terme Tettuccio. (Meals: breakfast and dinner)
Day 5: Cinque Terre
You’re going to be spending a whole day dedicated to exploring Cinque Terre. Admire the colourful clifftop villages of Manarola and Vernazza, before taking the train to Monterosso, an ancient fishing village that’s considered to be ‘The Pearl of the Cinque Terre’; you’ll have some free time to lounge on the enchanting beaches and take a refreshing dip in the sea before going to Riomaggiore and returning to Montecatini Terme. (Meals: breakfast and dinner)
Day 6: Chianti
Day six is all about Chianti. After breakfast you’ll dive right in at a rustic wine estate in the heart of vineyard country. Here you’ll be greeted by the owner who’ll impart their wisdom and share the tricks of the trade, before taking you to their cellar and tasting the delicious wines. Afterwards you’ll head to Greve in Chianti, one of Italy’s best-known wine villages. You can explore the village at your leisure before going to another wine estate for a tour and tasting. (Meals: Breakfast, snacks throughout the day and dinner)
Day 7: Montecatini Terme
You have a day to further explore Montecatini Terme and relax at the hotel. (Meals: breakfast and dinner)
Day 8: Montecatini Terme - UK
That’s all folks. After breakfast you’ll transfer to Pisa Airport and catch your flight back home.
