🌸 Summer 2026 is officially in full bloom at Pretty View Cottage! 🌸

Our brand-new hanging baskets are up, and we couldn’t be more in love with how they’ve completely transformed the front of the cottage. They add the perfect splash of vibrant color for the season!

These gorgeous arrangements come from a wonderful local small business and friend of ours whom we love to support. If you want to brighten up your own space, they are an absolute steal at just £15.00 each!

Welcome guests on your first visit – we hope it won’t be your last! 🏡

At Pretty View Cottage Holiday Cottage, everything is looking lovely for the season.

🌸 Fresh hanging baskets have been put up today.
🌿 The hedge has been freshly cut.
🐑 The lambs are out in the nearby field enjoying the sunshine.
🐴 We also have our “neigh-bours” grazing beside the cottage!
🐦 And there are plenty of birds to spot and listen to in the beautiful weather.

🍷 A nice bottle of red awaits inside, ready for you to enjoy. Hopefully the weather stays kind and you’ll be able to spend a relaxing evening in the garden, taking in the peaceful surroundings.

We hope you enjoy the countryside, the wildlife, and everything that makes Pretty View Cottage such a special place to stay.

Today marks the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, and what a beautiful day it has been here at Pretty View Cottage.

As the evening sun settles over the garden, we’re looking forward to putting up our new hanging baskets this week, bringing even more colour to the cottage for the season ahead. 🌸

Tomorrow, after our recent guests’ departure, the hedge will be having a tidy-up to keep the garden looking its best.

There’s nothing quite like a peaceful June evening in the countryside — long daylight hours, birdsong, and gardens full of promise.

We’re delighted to be welcoming returning guests to Pretty View Cottage this weekend as you visit for a friend’s special occasion. It’s always a pleasure to have familiar faces back with us!

We’ve left a little something in the fridge to chill for your arrival 🍷 we hope you can relax and enjoy it as soon as you get here.
