This weekend was a historic moment for the world of climbing! For the first time, the Boulder World Cup arrived in South America, taking place in the vibrant city of Curitiba, Brazil 🇧🇷
We are proud that some of our holds and hybrid ranges were part of this special competition.

Kilterboards Are Go!

We have had our best month ever for Kilterboard sales in the UK since their release in 2019. 8x12, 10x10, 12x12, 16x12 all popping up in a climbing gym near you soon. Some are static, some are adjustable, but there are more new Kilterboards being delivered in March than any month previously.

Beat the tariffs, we have some 12x12 and 16x12 at sea on their way to the UK. So far the UK hasn’t put any extra tariffs on US goods, so if you are considering getting a Kilterboard then they might be 25% more expensive soon. The only Trade War so far is the battle of the board sales, which Kilter is winning hands down.

For other Kilter holds, we have USA manufactured Aragon in stock in the UK and of course the European production isnt affected by the UK/US trade relations.

Having spent twenty years in the business, he also brings with him a set of abilities from his operations management work in the climbing wall sector to oversee large-scale industry events.

Scott may be familiar to you from his time as the ABC’s head of membership or, more recently, as Headrush’s head of UK sales manager.

BIG LOVE

A big thank you to everyone who joined us over the last two days to share in our wonderful world of Route Setting and Climbing Holds over at Unit E, The Climbing Works in Sheffield.

It was very encouraging to know that this is still the main ingredient for a thriving climbing gym community, as this is what we do.

Obviously we couldn’t have got this message across without the expert help of two Route Setting legends, Sir Percy of Bishton and Monsieur Jacky Godoffe.

A big thank you too for Shauna Coxsey who was the glue in our Tall Tales night, holding it together and being our most excellent host for the evening.
