International Day of Care and Support

After around 35 years as an unpaid carer to my two disabled sons, this one means a lot. To everyone providing care, and everyone receiving support — you deserve to feel valued, heard and understood. 💙

That includes when you travel. Whether you’re boarding a plane or setting sail on a cruise, passenger support matters. From assistance through the airport or cruise terminal to boarding arrangements, accessible cabins and support for non-visible disabilities — let’s talk about what YOU need before booking. ✈️🛳️

Every passenger is different. I can help check the facilities and request assistance with your airline or cruise line, so you know what to expect. Personal care needs planning separately, as passenger assistance doesn’t replace a carer. 💙

Because travelling shouldn’t mean struggling — and limited mobility should never mean limited holiday choices. 🌍

World Stroke Day

A reminder that recognising a stroke and acting quickly can save a life. Remember FAST:

• Face: Has their face dropped on one side?
• Arms: Can they raise both arms and keep them there?
• Speech: Is their speech slurred or confused?
• Time: Call 999 immediately if you notice any of these signs — even if they go away.

Sending love to stroke survivors, their families and the carers supporting them. 💙

Your holiday group chat could soon be joining you above the clouds! easyJet plans to introduce Starlink Wi-Fi from the first half of 2027. ☁️💬

The rollout will cover its Airbus A320, A320neo and A321neo fleets, with installation expected to finish by early 2028. ✈️

Passengers will be able to browse, stream and play games on their own devices from take-off to landing — with the technology also allowing you to order food and drinks from your seat. 📱🍿

No word yet on whether there’ll be a charge, and availability will depend on your aircraft as the service rolls out. 📶

Good morning and happy Tuesday! Today’s combination is b**r, black cats and cranky colleagues… what could possibly go wrong? 😂

National Black Cat Day — celebrating gorgeous black and black-and-white moggies, including the strays who steal your heart on holiday.
