So many guests are staying this week - in our just outside near to . We love hearing about the authors they have listened to and met and the books they have bought… Meanwhile we sit out with this beautiful view to look at - listening to the birds chirping and singing to each other whilst awaiting the next guests… Happy days…

Renovating and redecorating never ends with our airbnb. The knock-on effect of constant visitors, visiting dogs, families with toddlers and all their walking kit is the fact that I have to close every couple of months for a week to catch up! But today has been a very pleasurable one with curtain purchases and re-hanging… Quite a few of our guests have caused curtains to fall down. So I have now nailed some to the walls in the hope that will stop curtains and curtain rails falling down!! on the .

Waiting for our guests - the third couple to be walking near to and staying with us this week. We rarely know exactly when they will arrive - so it’s nice that I can wait at our patio table (when it is not raining) and see them walk up our drive .
