A little later than planned but finally got the time to prune the old apple tree in the cottage secret garden. Hopefully we will get a good crop to make Apple pies for our coffee shop in the Autumn

New Years Eve 2025.

D**k D**k and Rope Tow are set up for you today and Barry is waiting to help you at the tow ☺️

Our sledging area is prepared and we are also running the Cairnwell Chairlift for walkers and sightseeing. Be aware that this may close early if the wind gets up.

Cafe is open with hot food and drinks available for you if you are here for the day or just passing through.

We are open until 3.30pm today and will be here at 10am - 3pm tomorrow to help you welcome in the New Year.

Back to normal hours on the 2nd.

Hoping for some snow in the New Year so if you're 'oot at the dancin' tonight remember to put your snow dancing shoes on and do a few rounds for us.

We have taken advantage of some of the sunny Spring days to clear the garden, cut hedges and empty the septic tank in preparation for another busy year of wonderful guests staying at our cottage.

A93 open.

-4 at carpark level and a fresh dusting of snow, visibility much better than forecast with hardly a cloud in the sky and light winds 😉

Hill teams were out last night and first thing this morning and we have most of the Cairnwell side of the A93 open, so please see our website for full information on conditions weather, equipment and tickets.
