We visited the new Kirriemuir Community Arts Centre at the weekend and what a great place it is!

Located in the historic St Andrew's Church on Glamis Road, the space is occupied by a cafe, a large seating area and an exhibition area. The centre aims to be a community space for everyone with uses such as hosting workshops, cinema screenings, art classes and lots more.

The cafe is dog friendly too, so make sure to pay them a visit when staying with us at Kirk Wynd Cottage.

There are lots of special events taking place to mark what would have been JM Barrie's 165th birthday. Barrie was born in Kirriemuir in 1860, and although he wrote many successful novels and plays, he is best remembered for creating Peter Pan 🧚‍♂️🐊📖
