A wonderful wintry walk ❄️

Just a short drive from Fenwick Granary Farm you’ll find the beautiful Chillingham Hills.
Our favourite short walk takes you up to the summit of Ros Castle, the highest point of the Chillingham Hills!
Unbelievably, at this summit on a clear day you can see 7 castles.
We managed to spot 2 towards the coast! 🏰

We may have jumped the gun last night posting about the Northern Lights!

As the night went on the Aurora got stronger and brighter to the point it was completely visible to the naked eye. Like we have never seen before!

We say it every time but, we are so lucky to live in such a fabulous part of the world.

The Northern Lights are back out tonight, the view of the sky towards Holy Island is wonderful!
We’ve been so lucky this year to see such spectacular displays!

The weekend was spent on a beautiful walk in The Cheviots.
The Shepherds Cairn walk and memorial is 6 miles long and takes approximately 3.5 hours.
The views on this walk were spectacular!

We will never tire of seeing the Northern lights on our doorstep! Last night was made that little bit more special by the Perseid meteor shower 💫

Sunset in Seahouses 🌅
Now that the lighter nights are here there seems to be a gorgeous sunset almost every night!
It was beautiful to watch the sun go down over the Farne Islands!
