Working from a wee kitchen on the banks of Loch Duich, our small but mighty team draw endless inspiration from our beautiful Highland home. We’re insistent on using only the best Scottish ingredients to produce our decadent chocolates – and this, coupled with the care and passion that goes into each and every mouthful is evident in the unique and luxurious taste experience of Chocolates of Glenshiel. We are committed to being a force for good in every aspect, from supporting our local community to protecting the environment. Our packaging is 100% plastic free, and by sourcing our ingredients as locally as possible we keep our carbon footprint at a minimum. Come along and join us on our Highland adventure!

Today is one of the most exciting days in the year for food producers: Great Taste Award Results Day ⭐️

As we released our new boxes in the spring, we had the opportunity to submit some new chocolates for judging this year. We’re so pleased to announce that four of them were awarded stars 🌟

Did you know that our dark hot chocolates are both naturally dairy free?

They’re both richly chocolatey, though with hugely different flavour profiles. The 71% brings red berries and orange notes whilst the 54% offers a subtle maltiness and a hint of vanilla. They both work beautifully melted into dairy milk, or dairy-free alternatives.

Today Chocolates of Glenshiel turns 10 years old.

To celebrate, there’s 15% off all chocolates on our website until the end of the day. Discounts will be displayed at checkout.

Today has given us a good opportunity to have a wee look through some old photos. Looking back at where Finlay started - his parents’ kitchen in photo 4 - it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come and remember the monumental jump to the cafe and gift shop we call home now. We’ve outgrown the kitchen we moved into four years ago and we’re on the move again soon to a new place just over the road. This will mean more chocolates available on the website and more room to sit, relax and enjoy yourself in our cafe. This tenth summer is shaping up to be a busy one and we can’t wait to get stuck in!

We are so grateful for every online order, sip of hot chocolate, bite of a bar, kind word and Instagram/Facebook like over the last ten years. Thank you.

Our new hot chocolate packs have hit our website, alongside the 54% dark hot chocolate flakes which were previously only available from our cafe. Intensely chocolatey and silky smooth, it’s no wonder it’s one of our most popular orders!

We’re on the main route to Skye, just between ‘what a beautiful road’ and ‘are we there yet?’. Better yet, we’re dog friendly, so the whole family can enjoy their visit whether indoors in our cosy cafe our in our garden admiring the views 🏔️
