It’s a sad day here at The Barn. One of our magnificent mature elms has succumbed to the dreaded Dutch Elm disease, and we’re in the process of having it cut down. Thanks to Ben and Ed of for fitting us in quickly so that we can, hopefully, delay the spread to our other elm tree for as long as possible. This time next Friday it’ll just be a stump😔.

We’re given some really nice gifts from our wonderful guests sometimes. Jens and Michelle brought us some lovely beer and pretzels from Cologne, and a toy for Ottley all in a “The Barn” box!

Just had a great night at “Jazz in the Village” in Rosehall. were great. If you come to stay, have a little search as to what’s on in Lairg and the surrounding villages; you never know what gems you may find!
