A little about me…I’ve been part of this wonderful industry for nearly 20 years, with much of my time working for a Luxury Tour Operator bringing together the world’s most fascinating destinations, finest hotels and imaginative itineraries. I have also worked for the Barbados Tourism Authority as well as representing in the UK & Europe a number of Caribbean hotels – needless to say my phonebook has a wealth of contacts ‘I can make things happen’. Travel arrangements are the very foundation of a great holiday experience and I aim to make this as easy as possible for you, your family, your friends or business associates. I work from home, so you are not restricted to office hours and can get in touch at a time that best suits. Counting down to my next adventure ✈️

On 19th April, I’ll be heading off on a very special National Geographic cruise - Scotland’s Wild Isles: Shetlands & Orkneys and I couldn’t be more excited.

This is a part of the UK that feels truly untouched… dramatic coastlines, incredible wildlife, ancient history and a sense of remoteness that’s hard to find elsewhere. From the rugged beauty of the Shetland Islands to the rich heritage of Orkney, this journey promises to be something really unique.

I’ll be experiencing:
• Breathtaking landscapes and coastal scenery
• Iconic wildlife (hoping for puffins 🤞)
• Fascinating archaeological sites and Viking history
• Some of the UK’s most remote and unspoilt destinations

Trips like this are invaluable, giving me first-hand insight so I can bring destinations to life for my clients and recommend truly special experiences with confidence.

There’s the version of this job people see on social media. Airport coffees. Lounge selfies. The countdown to take-off.

And then there’s the other side. The one where your phone never really leaves your hand. Where plans change by the hour. Where your day is measured in solutions, not schedules.

This week has been one of those weeks. With so many travellers stranded across the Middle East, uncertainty has been the backdrop to thousands of journeys. For the past five days, I’ve been doing little else but reprotecting, rearranging and rerouting every client affected, finding alternatives, securing seats, adjusting plans, and making sure no one felt alone in the process.
This is the side of travel most people don’t see.
The contingency planning.
The airline negotiations.
The constant system refreshes.
The late-night calls.

But there’s something incredibly reassuring about having someone who will answer the phone, no matter the time.

- Someone who knows your itinerary inside out.
- Someone who already has a Plan B (and C).
- Someone who simply gets on with fixing things.

While some travellers are navigating automated messages and endless hold music, my clients are sending texts that say:
“We’re sorted.”
“We’re boarding.”
“Thank you.”
And that’s the difference.
Travel isn’t just about the moments that go perfectly.
It’s about who’s there for you when they don’t.

✨ What. A. Conference! ✨

From start to finish, it was an absolute blast! 🎉

After a night of side-splitting comedy from the hilarious Katherine Ryan, we kicked off the morning with a sofa chat with her — still laughing just thinking about it! 😂

Next up was the brilliant Sara Davies, sharing her top entrepreneurial tips and plenty of inspiration for our businesses 💡. Then came Simon Reeve, whose stories of adventure had us all captivated 🌍.

The evening theme? ‘A Night in the Orient’ — and our head office events team absolutely smashed it! The venue looked incredible, the food was delicious, the drinks were flowing, and we celebrated the very best in the business. 🏆

Headliners The Script were unreal 🎶, and of course, we wrapped up the night dancing away to Mad Hen — as tradition demands! 💃🕺

Feeling so inspired and ready for an amazing year ahead for my travel business. Grateful for my amazing team, loyal clients, and exciting new connections on the horizon. 🌟
