Sadly, it was the final day of our wonderful 10-day tour with our fun-loving group from San Diego, California.

We departed the vibrant town of Oban this morning and made our way to the iconic St Conans Kirk beside Loch Awe.

Our travels continued on to Inveraray, where our group visited Inveraray Castle.

We then toured through Argyll and down to the conservation village of Luss before completing our tour in Glasgow.

We wish our visitors a fabulous time in Glasgow and safe travels back home.

Haste Ye Back, folks, it's been a pleasure πŸ˜‰πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏπŸŒžπŸ₯ƒ

And we have reached the penultimate day of our 10-day adventure. In the morning, we departed from the misty Isle of Skye.

Although the weather was dreich for the first time, this didn't deter our visitors from San Diego as we boarded the ferry from Armadale and set sail for Mallaig.

We travelled past the Glenfinnan Monument and Viaduct on the Road to the Isles, then made our way to the Clachaig Inn in Glencoe, where everyone enjoyed another lovely meal.

We took a brief detour to capture some photos of the Three Sisters before heading to the bustling town of Oban, where we will all be staying for the evening.

Join us on our final day of this amazing adventure tomorrow. Night night the noo ☺️

Wow! What a lot we packed in to one day. Hope you enjoy the photos folks.

Pop by tomorrow for our penultimate day's adventures.

Superb day seven of our fabulous 10-day Scotland Tour. We set off from sunny Nairn this morning and travelled via Loch Ness through to the stunning Eilean Donan Castle, where our guests had time to stretch their legs and capture some photos and take in the spellbounding location of this iconic castle.

We then crossed over the Skye Bridge and made our way to the Old Inn in Carbost before sampling and savouring some of Taliskers' finest Malt Whiskies.

Another splendid sunshiny day in Scotland, as we settled for the evening in scenic Skye.

More adventures to follow on the "misty island" tomorrow.

We are now on day six of our ten day Scottish adventure. We were blessed with more glorious sunshine as we made our way to the charming Cawdor Castle and Gardens.

Our lovely group from the States had a wonderful visit and loved the beautiful gardens.

The next stop was the Cawdor Tavern, which is a stone's throw away from Cawdor Castle. Another lovely Scottish cuisine experience and tasty food.

Our journey continued on from Cawdor to Clava Cairns, where we wandered through the fascinating burial cairns and standing stones.

Next up, we visited the Culloden Visitor Centre and Battlefield, where our guests paid their respects to the fallen clans and Jacobites.

We still had time to search for Nessie at Dores beach at Loch Ness, whilst sipping a wee dram and listening to Graeme's bagpipes.

So as we rest one more night in lovely Nairn, we are looking forward to our further exploration tomorrow. Stay tuned ...πŸ˜‰πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ

And just like that, we are halfway through our 10-day tour with Sunshine in Speyside on our splendid Scottish adventure.

Setting off from the picturesque town of Nairn, we travelled through the glens of Speyside to the wonderful Glenlivet Whisky Distillery.

A fun informative tour was followed by three tastings, and our visitors from San Diego were in good spirits. πŸ˜‰πŸ₯ƒ

We then travelled to the Mashtun Pub in Aberlour, where everyone enjoyed a scrumptious lunch.

On our way back to Nairn, our travellers nipped into Benromach for a few more whiskies for the road.

This was another fun day for our friendly visitors from the States.

Can you guess where we are going tomorrow? Go on, you know you want to ...

Today was the fourth day of our 10-day Scotland, Private Tour, as we set off from St Andrews.

After a few last-minute purchases from the Tom Morris Golf Store, we headed north through Dundee, the city of discovery, and onwards to the historic, royal Glamis Castle.

Our lovely visitors from San Diego appreciated the amazing Scottish weather as we were all treated to a five-star guided tour through Glamis Castle. This is a must-see attraction in Scotland, and the gardens were a joy to stroll through.

We then travelled through the eastern Cairngorms National Park on the scenic snow road, stopping at Braemar before eventually arriving in Nairn (once described as the Brighton of Scotland), where we stay for the next three evenings.

We hope you're enjoying our tours of Scotland daily updates. Give us a wee thumbs up if you'd like us to keep posting πŸ˜‰πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏπŸ‘

Our third day of touring saw us set off this morning from the picturesque Trossachs town of Callander and for our second helping of thrills and spills watching the classic cars at the Doune Hill Climb.

Our next stop took our group of intrepid travellers to the iconic Kelpies in the Helix Park at Falkirk.

We all enjoyed the marvellous weather and some great fun with some trick photography before making the pilgrimage to St Andrews, the University Town, and Home of Golf.

There was also time to find a wee hidden coastal gem in the East Neuk of Fife, the lovely beach at Kingsbarns.

Check in tomorrow to follow us on our adventure through Bonnie Scotland.

We began day 2 of our ten-day tour of Scotland with a bang. Our first stop was the Doune Hill Climb, where our guests were thrilled to watch (noisy but lovely) vintage cars racing up the hill.

Afterwards, we had time to visit the Scottish Antiques and Art Centre.

Next, we visited Doune Castle. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed touring this historic site while listening to the entertaining audio guide narrated by Sam Heughan from Outlander and Terry Jones from Monty Python.

We then travelled a short distance to Culross, or known to Outlander fans as Cranesmuir. We all explored Culross Palace before enjoying a delicious meal at the Red Lion.

Later, Graeme played the bagpipes for his guests as they sampled some excellent malt whiskies from various regions of Scotland.

We completed the day with a lovely stroll up to the West Kirk, another filming location, the Black Kirk in Outlander, before heading back to Callander for our second night.

Check back in tomorrow to see where our travels take us!

See you soon, folks πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏπŸ˜‰

And we are back on the road again with a brand new tour.

Today, we started our adventurous 10-day Scotland Tour with two lovely couples from California, USA.

Graeme met his new group in Edinburgh this morning, and all set off in the glorious Scottish sunshine to the historic Stirling Castle.

Following our visit to Stirling Castle, we made our way through the Old Town of Stirling to the Lion and Unicorn Inn at Thornhill, which is a well-established favourite with our guests, and Graeme enjoys his regular lunch choice there, a superb steak pie πŸ˜‰

In the afternoon, we went on to Kilmahog to feed our Hairy friends, Hamish, Honey Dubh, and Baxter the Highland Coos.

We will spend the next two evenings overnighting in the lovely town of Callander in the Trossachs National Park. Check back tomorrow to see where our adventure takes us next.
