Located in the heart of the Sussex South Downs, Laughton Barns is the ultimate romantic wedding venue. Boasting 84 acres of picturesque landscape and two idyllic lakes, the venue is the most spectacular setting for a lovely country wedding. To make your memorable day truly special, we offer all our happy couples exclusive use of the venue for the weekend. The stunning Apple Barn is licensed for yo

ur civil ceremony. With beautiful views, your outdoor ceremony is in a truly magical setting, with the option to hold your ceremony inside our marquee should the weather dictate otherwise. Following your ceremony, we encourage you and your guests to enjoy the acres of land for photographs and activities, retiring to the Crown Barn patio for your drinks reception. Following your ceremony, we encourage you and your guests to spend some time lakeside for drinks and canapés before heading to the Crown Barn. The Crown Barn is ideal for your wedding celebrations, accommodating 200 guests for a wedding breakfast, a daytime minimum number of 80 guests. The barn was hand-built using local oak, brick and stone and has been fantastically finished with exposed beams and a gothic-inspired chandelier. The barn’s features are modern yet rustic and provide the ideal canvas for your reception. Additionally, an entire side of the barn can be opened up to let the outside in; you can have the feel of an outdoor event without the commitment to unpredictable weather. Our newly paved drinks reception area is beautifully sheltered by stunning willow trees, creating a relaxed place in which to enjoy a few refreshments and your guests’ company. You will be able to design your own wedding breakfast with the assistance of our critically acclaimed Head Chef, Mark Bolger. From formal three-course meals to hog roasts and street food, there are an impressive variety of potential dishes plus the opportunity to experience some of Circa's quirky evening food options such as The Circa Pizza Van, Bert & Ernie Street Food Karts, Bev the Gelato Bike and the Brighton Burger Company Van.
