The weather has been amazing here! The gorse on Browndown has never looked so spectacular. We’re looking forward to a sunny summer☀️Ruby obviously had to photobomb one of the pictures!

The splash park is OPEN!! 🔫💦💦

Both of our splash parks are OPEN!! 🌊
You can find them on the waterfront at Stokes Bay and Lee-on-the-Solent and the water features will be open from 10am-6pm every day over the Easter holiday.
They're free and next to other play equipment - perfect for families especially with this weather, which is set to stay sunny all week! ☀

The view from the window was great this evening. This is the local sailing club out for the regular Tuesday night practice.

Beautiful Browndown! It’s opposite Solent View and is a military range packed full of nature and history, including D-Day constructions. When the red flag is down it’s a lovely place for a walk. Dogs are allowed off lead. It’s about a 25 minute walk through to Stokes Bay where you can relax with a meal or a drink at the Bayside Cabin (Ruby recommends the dog sausage) before your return.

The Submarine Museum is about a 10 minute drive from the house and has free parking. It’s always an interesting day out for all the family!
