💚💙🎼🎶DISNEY MUSIC FESTIVAL (on until 7th September) 🎶🎼💚💙

Each performance at Disney Music Festival is the result of meticulous work carried out in close collaboration between Disneyland Paris' creative teams and live musicians—such as those from Disney Music Hits Concert—ensuring the emotional power of the storytelling from Disney Animation and Pixar’s timeless classics is fully conveyed. Thanks to the expertise of Disneyland Paris’ music teams, these iconic pieces have been rearranged, offering visitors a fresh rediscovery through contemporary soundscapes. » explained Guillaume Coignard, Music Producer at Disneyland Paris.

During Disney Music Festival, Disneyland Park transforms into an open-air concert venue with multiple dedicated spaces, offering a diverse range of musical styles—from classical to pop, folk, rock, and electronic—providing an eclectic musical experience. Each land pulses to the rhythm of its own unique atmosphere: in Frontierland, Miguel’s Fiesta Latina comes alive with the vibrant energy of mariachis alongside Miguel; in Town Square, Mary Poppins and the Pearly Band—a London-style jazz orchestra—transport guests into the world of Disney’s movie Mary Poppins (1964); in Adventureland, Moana and her Musicians set the stage with the lively melodies inspired by the Pacific Islands. Over in Fantasyland, Rapunzel and Flynn offer a charming musical encounter, while in Discoveryland, the Meet Stitch experience welcomes rock’n’roll fans with a Hawaiian twist.

Thanks to the teams from the Music Department, an original composition titled “Viva la Musique” has been recorded. This signature track will be adapted into different versions used throughout the festival, seamlessly blending with each live concert and musical encounter to reflect the diverse styles and atmospheres of Disney Music Festival.

Among the must-see highlights of this rich and diverse lineup is Minnie’s Marching Band, a vibrant musical procession that strolls along Main Street, U.S.A., led by Minnie Mouse herself and her 12-piece band featuring percussion and brass. Here, guests groove to pop and modern reimaginings of iconic Disney Animation songs, including “Hakuna Matata” (Disney Animation’s The Lion King), “Into the Unknown” (Disney Animation’s Frozen 2), and the legendary tune "He’s a Pirate” from the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Another major highlight is Disney Music Hits Concert, a high-energy pop-rock live show that sets the Videopolis Theater stage ablaze. Hosted by Chip and Dale, the concert features a six-piece band—including a drummer, bassist, two guitarists, keyboardist, and saxophonist—alongside five vocalists. Together, they bring fresh energy to Disney Animation’s and Pixar’s greatest hits, from “Friend Like Me” (Disney Animation’s Aladdin) and “You'll Be in My Heart” (Disney Animation’s Tarzan) to “Nobody like U” (Pixar’s Turning Red) and “Try Everything” (Disney Animation’s Zootopia). A show that gets the entire audience singing along—and that’s no coincidence: according to an IPSOS study, 69% of French families surveyed have sung or hummed a Disney song at least once in their lives.

The Grand Orchestra Finale brings the day to a spectacular close with a breathtaking 20-minute show at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Under the direction of Mickey Mouse and his friends, nearly 89 performers—including beloved Disney Animation and Pixar characters, along with the musicians who played throughout the day—gather from all corners of Disneyland Park for a medley of Disney and Pixar songs. From Moana’s percussionists and Minnie’s marching band to the Videopolis Theater orchestra and Miguel’s mariachis, each musical style blends to perform a symphonic rendition of the festival’s anthem, “Viva la Musique”. The celebration also features a brand-new float designed as a concert stage, welcoming the Hit Band—led by Chip & Dale, and their musicians.

“Disney Music Festival draws inspiration from what makes music so powerful: its ability to bring all generations together in a shared wave of emotion. Just like at music festivals, everyone can feel the beat of Disney and Pixar melodies, whether they are spectators or participants in this unique celebration, where music becomes a universal language full of memories,” said Matthieu Robin, Creative & Show Director.

The intergenerational appeal of Disney songs is further confirmed by an IPSOS study, with 74% of French respondents stating that these songs are timeless and enjoyed by all generations.

Additionally, Disneyland Paris offers a collection of accessories and clothing in the colors of Disney Music Festival. Festivalgoers can pick up a travel mug isotherm, a tie-dye t-shirt, or a Mickey conductor headband.

On the food side, a selection of snacks for on the go inspired by the festival’s shows and concerts will be available at various food stalls throughout Disneyland Park. Guests can enjoy Chip & Dale brookies, Daisy Duck’s vanilla and strawberry milkshake served with a glazed donut, or indulge in sweet or savory popcorn, all served in buckets designed after Mickey and Minnie’s outfits. A perfect blend of enjoyment and style all day long!

Through this brand-new season, Disneyland Paris enhances its offering of shows and reaffirms its status as a leader in entertainment in Europe. Music becomes the thread that ties together a vibrant summer, giving every visitor the chance to rediscover the music of Disney Animation and Pixar. This performance, like all of our shows and parades, is included in the Disneyland Park admission ticket, alongside Disney Stars on Parade, shows like The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands, and the brand-new nighttime spectacular, Disney Tales of Magic.

🌳🏕️ SEQUIOA LODGE HOTEL 🌳🏕️

Starting in 2026, major refurbishment work will be carried out to enhance and elevate the experience offered at Disney Sequoia Lodge, while preserving its wooden décor along with its authentic and warm atmosphere that guests have cherished since 1992. The structure of interior spaces will be reimagined from floor to ceiling, paving the way for a fresh look of characterized by greater brightness and a touch of modernity. The design will pay homage to the beauty of nature to the next level while taking inspiration from the forests following the tradition started by Walt Disney and his team of animators. Every space, from the rooms to the lobby, as well as the shopping and dining locations, will be reinvented as an ode to wildlife, offering the perfect environment to unwind and let one’s mind wander.

This transformation will also be marked by the hotel’s theming of landscape and forest animals: the nods to the classic Disney Animation film Bambi that can be currently found in rooms will evolve towards a broader theme that will celebrate many of Disney characters from classic and recent movies from the forest. They will be subtly incorporated into the different experiences offered at the hotel in a thoughtfully creative approach. Respect for nature and sustainability will also be reflected in the construction materials, which have been carefully selected to minimize the environmental impact of the Disney Sequoia Lodge refurbishment work.

The hotel will remain open during the refurbishment work, which will start in 2026 and will be carried out in phases.

With the opening of new shops at Disney Village, a brand-new costume has been created for the Cast Members, designed to complement the colors and architecture that inspired the creation of these new spaces. This touch of style and glamour will perfectly enhance the atmosphere and immersion for guests.

The journey began in 2022 with an artistic brief from Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and the Costume Design Office of Disneyland Paris’s Atelier Couture. From the ideation phase—also known as "blue sky"—and the presentation of the first concept art, to the creation of mood boards reflecting the artistic vision, several versions of the costumes were designed and presented before receiving final approval and handing the sketches over to the textile production team.

To create a timeless yet contemporary look, Tsvetislav Adreev, the designer behind the new costumes, drew inspiration from the uniforms of classic department stores, incorporating a nod to a distinctly French element—via the pastel polka dot pattern—which will also appear in the shops: macarons.

Working closely with him, Céline Chamard, Textile Development Technician, researched the ideal materials for the project, ensuring that Tsvetislav’s designs would be faithfully represented. She focused on finding sustainable fabrics that are easy to care for and comfortable for the Cast Members to wear.

“We pay great attention to listening to the Cast Members, ensuring the costume's ergonomics are optimal, with breathable fabrics that are comfortable to wear,” says Céline.

Next, fitting sessions were held for the Cast Members of these new shops in collaboration with the Costume Design Office teams. These fittings are a crucial part of the final design process, allowing for the final adjustments before the costumes are made available to the Cast Members who will wear them.

🏨🛒 Before the end of 2025, a new merchandise location designed by the Walt Disney Imagineering teams will open next to the iconic attraction The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™! Work is scheduled to start in April 2025.

As Walt Disney Studios® Park undergoes its ambitious transformation, the Walt Disney Imagineering and Design & Delivery teams are diligently working to improve guest experience at Disneyland® Paris. One of their upcoming projects is the transformation of the former FastPass™ area for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ attraction. The teams have completely redesigned the place to turn it into a boutique, in alignment with the ongoing placemaking at World Premiere Plaza.

The boutique's structure will be completely reworked, both inside and out, to offer a new shopping location. Imagineers chose a design representative of 1930s Hollywood, harmoniously blending into World Premiere Plaza and its Art Deco-inspired theatre district.

Located between the gardens of Adventure Way and The Hollywood Tower Hotel, the boutique will provide a seamless transition between the two worlds. With its design inspired by flower shops in the 1930s, it will offer guests an authentic atmosphere thanks to an array of props scattered around the boutique, including flower bouquets, pictures celebrating its historical milestones, and even a fridge similar to those used by Californian florists at the time.

Work will start in spring 2025, with opening scheduled for the end of the year.

🖤InsidEars 🖤

Great news for shopping fans – three new Disney boutiques are set to open progressively from the first quarter of 2025 at Disney Village. These new retail concepts are an integral part of the transformation of Disney Village, designed to offer guests a more modern, inviting and unique experience, with a touch of Disney magic.

DISNEY STYLE: the place to be for Fashionistas

This lifestyle boutique will offer a wide range of ready-to-wear Disney fashions and accessories that would make Edna Mode proud. A number of allusions to the eccentric and talented designer of The Incredibles will be infused into the visual identity and decor of this boutique, which promises to be fashion fabulous, darling!

Disney Style will be the perfect place for guests to find new outfits and accessories thanks to its wide range of products, section for young adults and some exclusive pieces which will only be available in this shop. DISNEY GLAMOUR: THE concept store spotlighting the fashion collaborations

The Disney Glamour boutique, which will be directly next to and connected to Disney Style, will feature a wide range of jewellery, clothing and elegant accessories, including creations by Pandora, Official Partner of Disneyland Paris. Special attention has been given to the architecture and lighting to showcase the elegance and quality of the products on display. Disney Glamour will also be hosting a number of capsule collections in collaboration with famous brands resulting in unique products.

deco by Disney: everything to customize your home

Finally, deco by Disney is sure to delight home decoration fans, bringing together home products, decoration and limited-edition Disney collectibles, including the popular ‘Art on Demand’ service where guests can print Disney works of art. The boutique is designed to inspire Disney enthusiasts to bring their favourite characters and stories to life once back in their own homes.

The shop’s layout and informal product displays serve as inspiration for how these objects can be displayed seamlessly in a home environment.

‘As part of the transformation of Disney Village, we wanted to offer a completely new shopping experience to surprise our guests. Firstly, we wanted to offer new concepts that are different from what the rest of our resort has to offer. Secondly, we wanted the organisation of these stores to be light and airy, with a more streamlined guest flow. And above all, we wanted to offer unique and exclusive products, collaborations, customisation, and more. We look forward to unveiling our latest work to our guests when these new shops open in the spring.’ says Jean-David Marque, Director of Merchandise & Retail at Disneyland Paris.

These new shopping experiences are part of a multi-year transformation plan for Disney Village, which also includes new restaurants to offer greater culinary diversity, reinvented storefronts and an improved atmosphere.

Many other projects are underway or planned, including the renovation of The LEGO® Store, the opening of Italian restaurant Casa Giulia and a new McDonald’s in 2026, and the imminent transformation of the famous Sports Bar, which will close its doors along with New York Style Sandwiches* from 2 December for several months of renovation work.

Following the launch of AudioSpot audio description in 2022 and Virtuoz tactile maps in 2023 – two services for guests who are blind and visually impaired, Disneyland Paris is now offering a service for guests who have difficulty communicating verbally.

Thanks to a series of images representing key experiences across the resort – attractions, shows, Disney characters, dining and merchandise – guests can better communicate their interests, creating phrases using the elements described by the images.

The Disneyland Paris image bank complements the pictograms our guests already use to communicate in their daily lives or can be used independently. It is available for free download in French and English on the accessibility page of the Disneyland Paris website. In this way, guests can prepare and familiarize themselves with the images before their visit.

The project is the result of a joint effort by the guest accessibility team at Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and several specialized consultants, following a year of research and design. Disneyland Paris is now the first theme park in France to offer this service.

This service is one of many put in place in recent years – including audio description in attractions, restaurants and select shows, French sign language interpretation in select shows, accessibility guides and maps, priority access cards, and wheelchair-accessible vehicles – as part of an ever-expanding program so that all guests feel welcome and can enjoy the best possible experience.
