Each passenger will have access to the exact pinpointed location of their taxi, along with an accurate estimated time of arrival, all at the touch of a button. ceives excellent customer service and a reduced fare and the large carbon footprint of taxis goes some way to being minimised. With the use of the latest, state of the art technological solutions, including a free and easy to use iPhone App, cityHitch’s aim is to make taxis better for both client and environment. Each passenger is guaranteed only a 10-minute maximum additional journey time and complete safety in the cab. Each passenger declares their drop off point on booking a cityHitch taxi, ensuring safety for other passengers. All of the 35 drivers are trained in dealing with potentially dangerous situations, such as drunken passengers, and we will turn away anyone we feel will compromise the safety of our other clients, or potential clients. Furthermore, every Toyota Prius hybrid cab in our fleet will be installed with the most technologically sound and advanced security systems, including panic buttons and remote controlled CCTV. In doing this, we hope to revolutionise the reputation of taxi firms and encourage use of cityHitch as opposed to polluting and potentially unsafe rival taxi firms. Our fleet of 10 Toyota Prius’ emit only 88g CO2 per km and we can cater for disabilities with our 9 seater Renault Trafic minibus.
