There can only be one... special evening celebrating the 40th anniversary of Highlander at the Royal Armouries Museum.

The evening includes a Q&A with the creator behind the film Gregory Widen and Jonathan Ferguson, the Royal Armouries' Keeper of Fi****ms and Artillery, and a screening of the original Highlander (1986).

We're less than 2 weeks away from the Leeds International Film Festival - LIFF and we've put together our guide to our top 15 films to catch:

1) Ultimate Thunder, a documentary about Leeds based punk rock band.
2) Fjord, winner of the Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival.

Heading into Leeds for the weekend?

Guests can choose from roast beef sirloin with beef shin and ’nduja croquette; N’duja & fennel seed stuffed porchetta with pork and beef polpetti; Doppia carne with roast beef sirloin, stuffed porchetta a croquette and polpetti all finished with ossobuco gravy; or Roast & Charred Celeriac with caper, black olive and pine nut stuffing and red w**e gravy. Each roast comes with all the Sunday essentials: crispy roast potatoes, honey and thyme roasted carrots and parsnips, sautéed greens and a Yorkshire pudding.

Treasures of the Brotherton at the Leeds University Library Galleries hosts 'Quite Shameless: Cultural Reflections on the Vampire' from Tuesday 27th October, with objects including medieval manuscripts, playbills, poetry, books and highlights from the Bram Stoker collection.
