The Inca Trail is South America’s most famous trek and needs no introduction. It’s hiked by thousands every year on account of its breath-taking scenery and perfectly preserved ancient Inca ruins. Did you ever wonder where they filmed that perfect turquoise water in The Pirates of the Caribbean?

The answer is the Exumas - a group of islands in the Bahamas blessed with white sand beaches and crystal clear ocean. Hell, you can even swim with pigs, sea turtles and nurse sharks there!

Johnny Depp loved it so much he bought his own island along with a host of other celebs.
