Outdoor dining Keythorpe style — long lunches in the garden, seasonal dishes made with ingredients grown just metres from the table, and views stretching out across the valley.

Each month, we turn into a restaurant for our Dining Club — a chance to enjoy this setting in all its seasonal beauty. And for those dreaming of something more private, Keythorpe is available for exclusive hire, with garden feasts and candlelit dinners designed entirely around you.

June Dining Club dates now live — tables for 2, 4, or 6–8 guests available:

🎄 Christmas Wreath Making with - 3rd & 4th December - Create your own festive wreath using foliage & dried flowers from Keythorpe’s Walled Garden.
💫 Christmas Supper Club - 13th & 14th December - dine around the Christmas tree and enjoy a magical culinary experience.

We had such fun creating a bespoke lunch event with a superstar team! We set out to celebrate the colours of Spring, of course using our sustainably grown flowers. The last ranunculus of the season featured as the stars of the show!

The asparagus is back! It's a brief appearance - here now and then gone in merely 8 weeks - but a vegetable that sings Spring... This is reason enough to celebrate it on the menu of our next Dining Club on May 17th!

Another date for your calendar is April 27th for the next Wild Food Walk with our ethnobotanist Claudio Bincoletto. Foraging for St George’s Mushrooms and other wild food delights in the
woodland, grounds and gardens and turned into a delicious lunch.

Chef Bent has created an amazing menu for our next Dining Club on 9th & 10th March. Feast on some of the last winter veg from the walled garden, local Oxey Farm beef and the first of our tender forced rhubarb! Our North American cousins celebrate Groundhog Day on the 2nd February, a Pennsylvanian Dutch superstition. If the groundhog emerges from its burrow and can see its own shadow then winter will continue for 6 weeks. We had bright sunshine here today and long shadows so perhaps the cold spell will continue…

Whatever the groundhog decides, we like to think we are halfway to Spring!

Chef has created a delicious early autumn menu featuring our garden tomatoes, , local game, Baron Bigod from and lots of other treasures from the walled garden and local farms. What a summer! We welcomed many incredible guests in the last few months, all making Keythorpe their home for a short while. Time to restart our Supper Clubs now with the next one planned for 23rd & 24th September! See link in our bio.

As Earth Day has drawn to a close let’s celebrate this year’s moto “Invest in our planet”!
We have tried our hardest to avoid disrupting the natural balance of this small corner of the planet we are lucky to look after. We celebrate our local producers and suppliers, always strive to use less plastics, more eco friendly household products and of course invest in our local ecosystem. In the last 10 years by avoiding using any artificial pesticides or herbicides we have seen the biodiversity of the gardens massively increase. This natural harmony ultimately results in healthier plants, which are impacted less by pests and are tastier and more nutritious for us as a result 😁. And today a lovely surprise to be mentioned by in a special Earthday column for !
