🌪️ the Caribbean in August is a bit of a mixed bag. While many islands are still beautiful and welcoming during that time. Late August through September is historically the most active and dangerous period for hurricanes in the Caribbean.

🌧️ Avoid flood-prone areas like Mumbai or Kolkata during peak monsoon season which runs from June to September.
Instead, explore Ladakh, Spiti Valley, or Rajasthan, where rainfall is minimal.

⚠️ Cross-check official travel advice (FCDO or your national equivalent) shortly before booking or departure. Many insurers exclude FCDO “Do Not Travel” zones.

☀️ In Dubai during August, temperatures can soar above 40 °C. Nightlife and indoor activities are recommended, while peak daytime excursions are nearly impossible if you can’t handle the heat.

Budget airline Ryanair is giving passengers more space — increasing its free under-seat bag allowance by 20%. 📦
Soon, you’ll be allowed to bring a bag measuring 40cm x 30cm x 20cm, weighing up to 10kg, onboard at no extra cost.
That’s bigger than the new EU minimum standard of 40x30x15cm. ✅

🎯 Here’s how it compares:
🔹 Old Ryanair limit: 40x25x20cm
🔹 New Ryanair limit: 40x30x20cm
🔹 EU minimum: 40x30x15cm

The new Ryanair size will roll out in the coming weeks, once they update their bag-measuring devices at airports. 🛫 No date confirmed as of yet.

Meanwhile, the EU Parliament is also pushing for a second free piece of hand luggage (up to 7kg). But this rule still needs full approval.
