The Victorian Barn

The Victorian Barn The Victorian Barn is a beautifully converted barn which provides a high standard of self-catering. We converted the red brick 19th century barn in 2011/12.

Originally used to house cows but in later years provided shelter for sheep and lambs during our lambing period in a March and April. Due to it's size it was no longer accessible with modern machinery so we decided to tastefully convert it into a warm and friendly home from home holiday cottage. The holiday cottage is available all year around arrivals on Mondays or Fridays. We take bookings for s

hort stays of 3 nights plus and will consider long term lets of over 4 weeks. It is an ideal spot for couples and families, those interested in walking, bird watching and cycling. The grand union canal is in walking distance and Foxton locks can be accessed by a short walk across the farm. Market Harborough is 10 minutes by car offering a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, independent shops, covered market and an award winning farm shop. Leicester is 20 minutes by car and offers the space centre, Richard lll museum, cinemas, theatres and many big name high street shops. Enjoy a quiet relaxing holiday surrounded by fields and hedgerows thriving with wildlife, birds, insects and butterflies supported by our commitment to conservation on the farm. A warm welcome awaits you at The Victorian barn.
