Dr Sue Wilson MBE will be in Shetland 9th May-21st May. Chairman of the Tumaini Fund, established in 2003 seeking to alleviate the terrible suffering of AIDS widows and orphans in Kagera, Tanzania.
Her work is extensive and interesting and challenging. She would love to visit and speak to as many groups as possible during her stay especially knitting and sewing groups but any community groups large or small and any age including schools and churches. She is passionate about her work and all that is achieved through people in communities like ours that benefit others. Shetland supports the work through a knitting group at Lerwick Baptist Church on Tuesday mornings 10-12. If you are interested in having Sue to visit your group please PM me. Thank you.
