The weather is looking damp, come and stay dry by the forge, learning some traditional techniques, crafting something with your own hands, using heat and a hammer.

No previous experience is necessary, you will not be sharing equipment, you have your own forge and anvil to work on and lots of tuition (as required) from me!

Courses are for one or two only (unless you book a group), so no waiting around for your turn and you get to work at your own pace to create something special to take home and treasure.

What's left to book in June......

Saturday 13th June - space for one for a full day
Saturday 27th June - space for one for a full day
Sunday 28th June - space for one or two for a full day, or two for a half-day.

Plenty more options in July and beyond. Any questions, let me know and if you can't see a date you want, do please ask.

Cooling down a bit at the weekend, and space for one this coming Sunday (31st May) for a full day if you fancy some time at the forge.

Thankfully no forging in the 30+-degree heat was necessary this week!

May the forge be with you....

Thanks so much for all the bookings, they have been flying in today. Really appreciate it, and looking forward to welcoming you all to the forge.

May and June fairly busy, but still a few dates left to book, so please pop to the calendar (link below) if you want to come along sooner rather than later.

Cheers Jo (pic taken on a recent dog walk for a change from the usual forge)

***THIS HAS NOW BEEN BOOKED*** Thank you!
Sunday 26th April is still free to book if you wish to come along to the forge and try your hand at being a blacksmith for the day!

You can come on your own for a full day, or bring another (two for a full day enjoy a small discount) or book a half-day for two if you prefer.

Two forges and two anvils, so no sharing of equipment, plenty of support from me (as required) and the chance to try an ancient profession and learn some new skills.

You will come away with something you have made with your own hands, crafted in metal, using heat and your own efforts.

This is the last weekend date available until the end of May - so do please get in touch if you wish to book (just follow the link in the comments below).

May at the forge....
You kind people have fully booked for April, so let's get you booked in for May and beyond!

The diary is up to date to the end of July (but if you want to get organised after that, just let me know your preference).

At the time of writing this, there are limited weekend options available in May (Sun 17th or one or two, Sat 30th for one or two, Sun 31st for one only). Plenty more weekends up for grabs in June.

I will pop a link to the calendar and let me know if there is a date you can't see, I can sometimes juggle my diary to suit.

You will have your own forge and anvil, no sharing of space or equipment, unless you book a private group.

Any questions, let me know......you don't need any prior experience, complete novices, or those returning to an old hobby/school project are very welcome.

Cheers, Jo

PS Christmas vouchers expire at the end of June, so don't leave it too late and please get your booking in the diary.

I tempted fate......

After saying April was fully booked, someone had to move their day due to an injury. Wishing them a speedy recovery.

Now there is space for one for a full day on Friday 24th April.......

I'll report back if a kind person takes the space and we are back to fully booked!

Thank you good people - April just got fully booked!

Plenty of spaces in May/June and beyond!

If you can't see a date you want, do please ask, I can sometimes juggle the diary and fit you in.

Much appreciated to be booked up in our current times, keeps a small business afloat and for that I'm very grateful.

Cheers - Jo
