Our cozy Hut provides the perfect romantic getaway, so why not treat your loved one to a Hut stay?! Amble from your doorstep up Mill Gill to it's beautiful waterfall, a pub lunch is a must and you're spoilt for choice with multiple incredible options just a stones throw away! Spend the afternoon relaxing, reading, watching and listening to the wildlife that surrounds you and admire the beautiful views of Addlebrough 😍 As the day draws to a close, toast marshmellows around the fire pit and take in the incredible stary dark skies of the Dales before retreating to your snug king size bed, completely content! 🥰

❄️it's Snowdrop Season! 🤍 and that means the 🌌💫is just around the corner, too! We are a business, which means The Hut is the perfect base to make the most of the incredible Dark skies of the Dales and to take advantage of some great Dark Sky events! We currently still have availability 9-11th February, perfect timing to enjoy Paul Clark's incredible photography and video of Northern Dales Skies held just a short walk from The Hut at Askrigg Villiage Hall on 10th February. Or you could be emersed in a Dark Sky Experience with Richard Darn in Hawes on 20th February! ✨️🌙

A soggy and autumnal Mill Gill! 🍂such a beautiful walk from The Hut, we love visiting the Gill to watch and listen to the water flowing and see all the mini waterfalls cascading off the moss 💚😍 a great afternoon stroll before cozying up in the Hut in front of the pipsqueak stove 🔥
