Travel is in our blood and the passion for holidays and exploring the world is as strong as it was back in 1936…The Broad family has been synonymous with travel since the late 1930’s when Alan’s father Ray Broad sold coach tickets in the back of his Father’s Ironmongers shop on Birmingham Road, Erdington. The company grew over the years to include Broads Travel Service, Tudor Travel and Concord Holidays. Following Ray’s retirement in the 1970’s, Alan’s eldest brother Robert opened Robert Broad Travel in 1982 in Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield. In 1985 Alan opened a Lichfield office on Boley Park where we are still located today. Robert sold off the Sutton Coldfield office when he retired in the 1990’s and Alan continued the family business with his son Oliver. Today, along with Nathan Collins our group of specialist travel brands falls under the name RB Collection. We are very very proud of our heritage and are now looking to the future with an award-winning team of travel experts who are passionate about creating unique, lifelong memories through specialist and luxury holidays around the world.

😎 More Summer Holiday Feedback...

👨‍👨‍👧‍👧 A common request from families is accommodation with hotel facilities, but villa-style accommodation where parents and kids can have separate rooms. Oliver visited a great hidden gem last summer in Sardinia and has since booked a family of four who have returned and sent in the comments below...

🇮🇹 'Sardinia was really lovely. Thank you very much for your recommendation and work putting that together for us. The accommodation was perfect as it was great to have our own apartment but also access to the hotel facilities. We would definitely go back to a different part of the island to explore more. The hotel itself was really nice, loved the pool and beach bar etc."

🛫🌅 Both Nathan and Oliver have visited Sardinia multiple times. There are many resorts to explore but it is an island to ensure you choose the right area for you and your needs. Getting around in certain areas is not that easy and the island is best explored by car if you want to discover some beautiful scenic villages and local markets. For the coast, a boat trip is a great option and you can easily hire one when you are there or we can arrange an excursion. The waters are, as you expect, simply stunning and Sardinia is at its best when explored.

😍 We received this lovely email in from Sue who celebrated her many years of friendship with Jenny on a recent trip to see Andrea Bocelli perform in his home village of Lajatico in Tuscany, Italy last month. What a lovely way to celebrate together! Thanks Sue for sending this over!

😎 **Nothing Beats an RB Holiday!...Here's our latest summer trip feedback**

🏝 This multi-generational family trip was arranged back in November 2024 and gave all nine travellers something exciting to look forward to! We have noticed an increased trend where three generations of family want to enjoy quality time together and Ikos Odisia in Corfu is a great option. This 5* ultra-all inclusive property is great for all ages and various holiday demands! There is very little to worry about from the moment you arrive, including spending money.

But don't just take our word for it, scroll down to read feedback that two family members sent us:

I just wanted to say a quick thank you for organising us such an amazing holiday!

What a hotel!!! who could wish for more, the place was faultless. Just the fact that there were nine of us & we never failed to get sunbeds together anywhere, whatever the time of day, was the biggest novelty ever!

We are definitely hoping to return in the future.'

"Good Morning RB,

All quite amazing! A new holiday experience for the family. The hotel not yet four years old, everything is immaculate. The restaurants are excellent, food well prepared and very sensible portion control, service always on the ball, staff very well trained.

Pools amazing, rooms fine. One of the boys was asked to score the hotel out of ten and he answered eleven!

Today we cruised around the islands from the hotel pontoon for a few hours, all included. We had the shuttle bus to and from Corfu town en-masse yesterday, what a delight the old Venetian town is. Golf cars take us around the hotel site whenever requested.

Weather very hot but not a problem because the breeze is always with us.

In conclusion there is nothing that disappoints and the Nathan plan for this holiday set out months ago should be recommended to other families. The all inclusive is exactly what it claims. This is a World class venue I would say."

😍 Thanks to Ian & Wendy for sending in this feedback from the Maxxroyal International in Belek. They were our competition winners from our Luxury Travel Show last year and we are all so pleased they had a nice time at this luxury resort in Turkey...

'We had a lovely stay at the Maxx Royal. The hotel and grounds are beautiful with a lovely pool and entertainment area at night.

The staff were all friendly and attentiveness to guests was exceptional. The bedroom was large with a fab bathroom and a mini bar full of drinks and snacks replaced every day. The entertainment at night was good with live shows and then music in the Tangerine Beach Club.

We both really liked this hotel and would have been happy to stay here for longer!

Thank you for sorting this holiday out for us!'

🤩 We are very excited to announce Kids Village Charity as our 'Charity of the Year' for our 2025, our 40th Anniversary Year.

🍾 We welcomed Katarina along to our '40 Years Young' Garden Party last month and showcased the charities work to our guests. We also held a raffle to raise all important funds for the charity and we pledged to match this up to £1,000 for St Giles Hospice too! Thanks to Sunvil, LUSSO, & Kirker Holidays for supporting the event and thanks to everyone who came along on the day.

🤩 Thanks to the Higgins Family for sending in this wonderful feedback following their Floriday holiday...

🏰 RB Collection were wonderful and Sam helped us arrange the holiday of a lifetime. Everything from private transfers to park tickets was arranged for us, all we had to do was turn up with passports. We all had a brilliant holiday, it was so special to see the girls face’s light up when seeing the castle for the first time or hearing them laughing and chatting about their first upside down ride.

🎢 Be prepared to walk over 30,000 steps a day, laugh more than ever before and experience rides and shows like nothing you’ve ever seen before. It truly is a magical place and RB Collection helped us make the most of it!
