From Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 February, see Lincoln be transformed as we welcome the Frequency Festival to the city, sparking an adventure of light, colour and sound.

During the festival, we'll be hosting Circa, a mesmerising installation that invites audiences to connect with the biological patterns and rhythms of nature.

Circa will be located on the Deans Green, creating a destination for audiences to share a moment of collective immersion, turning the area into an environment for exploration and curiosity. Enhanced with a synced, atmospheric sound design created by Joe Acheson (Hidden Orchestra), each of the twelve light hoops represents the average light fall over one month of the year.

Wow! Another fantastic Christmas event for everyone to enjoy🎄⛄️🎁

This Saturday and Sunday, the city's streets will turn into a magical winter wonderland for 2025's Lincoln Ice Adventure ❄️

On 6 and 7 December, discover 14 unique ice sculptures around the city, from the Cornhill and High Street to the cobbled Bailgate and Uphill area. Across the weekend, enjoy free family entertainment including a traditional carousel and walk around street performers, Glühwein and roasted chestnuts stand in Castle Square, live music, craft fairs from Lincoln Makers' Market, The Travelling Historical Market, and a festive craft market in The Lincoln County Assembly Rooms.

Another fantastic event to start the Christmas festivities in Lincoln🎄

This December, the Lincoln Ice Adventure is set to transform the city into a magical winter wonderland once more.

Embark on a festive adventure over the weekend in search of 14 unique hand carved ice sculptures in key locations across the city from the lower high street to the Bailgate, where a picturesque backdrop of historic architecture will add to the festive magic.

As you make your way around the city, you can indulge in some Christmas shopping, stop off for some seasonal treats and take in the beauty of Lincoln's Christmas illuminations.

With the addition of the Maker's Market, live entertainment, mulled wine, and activities on all weekend, the Lincoln Ice Adventure is the perfect way to experience the wonderful atmosphere of Lincoln at Christmas.
