'Millie' the camper had a few rust patches to tidy up around the wheel arch, so what better time to give her a new paint job! First coat on to see what it's like, colour looking good I think.
Just need to rub the rest of the van down and get the first coat on now.

the seat/bed cushions are now here and fit well. now to carry on working on the reat of it.

who's idea was it to distress these to change the look of them? oh yes it was me! things always seem a good idea at the time or if you get someone else to do it. one section dow and 7 more sections to go!

well it's been a while since I've done some work on 'Millie' so I thought I'll spend a little time on her today, so kitchen floor is down now.

well the seating/mattress foam has turned up and so has all the material for the covers and curtains! soon 'Millie the camper' will have somewhere for people to seat and sleep on!

bit of upcycling today, some bedroom doors taken out from a job I had last week has a new life as the seat/bed area in the van and the doors for the kitchen unit.

plus managed to get the internal of the units started.

while away for the week no work got done in the camper van, but I still went shopping for items for the inside of it.
new toilet, cutlery, pots and pans, plates, side plates, bowls and tea, coffee and sugar pots.
now to get the storage spaces for them built.

I was going to work on the floor today but decided to try and sort out that one problem of a table in the van.

not always easy to do in a small place, but this is what I have come up with.

well today added 2 more windows to the van.
we now have a pair of eyes looking out the back. and another side window.

when your working in the van and someone has to come and say hello just in case they are missing out on something!

not been about to work on the van this last week, but the interior material has been chosen for seat covers, curtains and divider curtain.
