Situated just five minutes from the picturesque Bodmin Moor and 20 minutes from the beach at Looe, the bungalow is ideal for couples or families – children and dogs are most welcome. The property is available for short breaks for full weeks from March – December.

The team has been busy collecting evidence for action, to care for our natural and cultural heritage! This week, we’re sharing a sneak peek at some of the data behind our soon-to-be-launched digital StoryMap, interactive map and data dashboards.

🔎Today’s spotlight is on Section 12 of Cornwall National Landscape – Bodmin Moor.

Ancient, watery and wild, Bodmin Moor is not only a designated International Dark Sky Landscape but also has 521 hectares of Cornish Mining World Heritage Site and 354 Scheduled Monuments. Some of these are 1000s of years old and were made to align with celestial events – find out more on our Dark Skies webpage and watch our webinar with archaeoastronomer Carolyn Kennett and Dr Wayne Thomas of Caradon Observatory
