It was a nice surprise this morning to see a Tawny Owlet in the entrance of the nesting box when I thought there were still squirrels in it.

It has been lovely to see everyone again and as the weeks go by everything has become very green again and the birds have been nesting. The Moorhens and Ducks have been busy and we have seen quite a few chicks. The Swallows arrived on 3rd April this year and have been dashing around. Everything seems to be blooming a little earlier than usual and the Bluebells have been beautiful again.

It's great to see our guests again after a wet and windy winter. Violet, Amy, Matt and Max have been enjoying catching the first fish of the season and they have caught some lovely fish so far 😀

Happy New Year. Wow, well 2025 seemed to fly by and we are in 2026 already. Looe was as busy as in the middle of summer last night and the Millpool car park was full. They always have a really nice fireworks display at 6pm and Midnight, so if you put your clocks forward 6 hours you can see the fireworks, see in the New year, be in bed for 10pm and do the Eden project park run in the morning 😁
