What a wonderful way to spend a week. The Isle of Purbeck has so much history, beauty and nature to exolore. We began with Studland.

Day 1
We started in Studland, and visited St Nicholas Church, followed by the Studland Cross. After ascending the rather steep hill we were getting by a 360° view of the surroundings, including the Isle of Wight. At the end of the ridge we saw Old Harry, the possible smuggler, and the Pinnacles. Then along the beach to a well earned welcome drink at the Bankes Arms.

Its a brand new school year, and we're kicking off September learning with a beautiful hike.

Today's focus was all about direction, we flipped a coin to decide which way to go and then used the compass to work out the direction.

Don't forget, Fred goes in the shed.
