A little look back at some of our recent tours!

Over the last few weeks, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming some fabulous international student groups from EF (Education First) to Liverpool! 🌍🚶‍♀️

With autumn sunshine, plenty of smiles and lots of opportunities to practise English, our tours are about so much more than sightseeing. They’re a chance to discover Liverpool’s incredible history, explore its culture, build confidence and connect with people from around the world.

We love helping visitors experience our amazing city while supporting learning and greener tourism along the way! 💚

🎸 You never know who you might bump into on one of our tours! 👀

During Beatles Week in Liverpool, Allan had a very special surprise when he bumped into Brigit Grant, co-screenwriter of Midas Man, at the statue of Brian Epstein himself! 🎬

Brigit had stopped by for a photoshoot and was delighted to hear Allan sharing the story of Brian Epstein and his incredible role in the Beatles’ journey before introducing herself. Talk about a wow moment! 🤩

It just goes to show that you never know who you’ll meet or what stories you’ll discover when exploring Liverpool with us.

Paul McCartney appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Friday, 2 October 2026, during the show's special week of tapings at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The 84-year-old music icon covered a wide variety of humorous, personal, and career-spanning topics during his interview:

Taylor Swift’s Wedding: McCartney spoke publicly for the first time about performing at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's star-studded July wedding. He revealed that Swift personally asked him to perform the 1964 Beatles classic "I Want to Hold Your Hand"—a song he had not played live since performing it with the band in 1964.
Larry David Concert Ban: Kimmel brought up an intimate show McCartney played at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles earlier in the year. McCartney joked that Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David would no longer be invited to his concerts because he didn't sing along to "Hey Jude".
New Music and Ringo Duet: McCartney promoted the upcoming special edition of his latest album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane. He explained how his new single, "Home To Us" (a duet with Ringo Starr), came together after they dusted off an old drum track Ringo had left behind in the studio.

The documentary shines a light on the people and stories behind Invisible Cities, and the impact their walking tours can have, giving people the opportunity to share their experiences, their city and their voice in a completely different way.

Last Thursday, Rachel and Jean from our team had the pleasure of heading to Edinburgh for the Invisible Cities 10 Year Anniversary Gala 🎉

It was a truly special evening celebrating 10 incredible years of Invisible Cities and the amazing work they do that create opportunities and share stories from people who have experienced homelessness.

Hosted by Zakia, the evening featured brilliant guests including Gail Porter and Jon Watts, as well as an inspiring story from Sonny, an Invisible Cities guide.

The evening also raised nearly £2,000 through donations and raffle tickets, which is an incredible achievement and a brilliant way to celebrate such an important milestone.

We were delighted to be part of the celebrations and to spend the evening with so many inspiring people. Here’s to the next 10 years! 🥂
