As we enter the busiest month for family travel, I’m sitting here reflecting on what a strange year 2026 has been so far. From the disruption in the Middle East having such a big impact on sales earlier in the year, to July becoming the busiest month I’ve ever had for new bookings (despite it normally being a quieter month), it’s certainly been an unexpected year. I’m feeling incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️

I’ll still be working for the next week, but from 11th August I’ll be taking some much-needed annual leave to spend quality time with my own family in Bali. 🏝️

I’ll still be reachable for emergencies while I’m away, but I won’t be taking on any new enquiries until I return.

Let’s talk about the largest cruise ship in the world Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas 🤩

With 7 pools to a full-on waterpark at sea, there’s something for everyone. You’ve got over 40 places to eat and drink, plus unique “neighborhoods” that each feel like their own little world 🌴🍹

The entertainment is next level too — think Broadway-style shows like Back to the Future: The Musical, high-diving performances, ice skating shows, and live music every night 🎭✨

Oh and most importantly world class kids clubs 😅 What is not to love!
