𝗖𝗧 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 has successfully completed back-to-back jack-up barge tows, departing from and returning to Hardinxveld.

The first tow supported a project in Holyhead, followed by a return tow from Avonmouth back into the Netherlands.

Great shot of our Stantug 𝗖𝗧 𝗢𝘅𝘁𝗼𝗻 in action last week 📸

She carried out a short tow in the Bristol Channel, moving 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 from Bridgwater up the River Parrett across to Barry for demobilisation.

She is currently undertaking a tow from the Netherlands to Holyhead, where she will have availability for upcoming requirements.

𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗶 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲

Carmet are proud to have supported the Aerotruss installation at Menai Bridge — a unique project enhancing access and infrastructure in one of the UK’s most iconic locations.

The installation involved deploying a lightweight Aerotruss system to provide a safe and efficient working platform, enabling critical works to be carried out while minimising disruption to the surrounding environment.

Our team provided the marine plant to support the installation, working closely with project partners to ensure the operation was delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

This was a great collaborative effort between multiple teams, and a project that simply wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s input and expertise.

A big thank you to everyone involved for their hard work and commitment throughout.

We’re pleased to share that we added another workboat to the Carmet fleet at the end of 2025. 𝗖𝗧 𝗢𝘅𝘁𝗼𝗻 is now available for charter from the Liverpool area.

The Damen Stan Tug 1906 is ready to support towage projects across the UK, offering a 21t bollard pull, aft towing winch, HS Marine deck crane, and manual coupling winches — making her a versatile addition to the fleet.

𝗖𝗧 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 is currently towing the jack-up barge 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 from Pembroke back to Malmö, Sweden.

Due to weather conditions, the tow sheltered in Great Yarmouth earlier this week before commencing the North Sea crossing.

𝗖𝗧 𝗩𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 assisted the tow safely in and out of the port.
