Pant Glas is a newly refurbished luxury 2 bedroom first floor apartment which sleeps 4 and has it's own private ground floor access. Set in the glorious countryside of magical mid Wales close to the coast, Snowdonia national park and the Severn valley with all its attractions. Families, walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists are all welcome at Pant Glas.

A beautiful winter wonderland at Pant Glas. Which ever season we are in, there is fun to be had, sights to see and joy to be found. Not so much snow at the beach, but a wonderful sunset guaranteed.

Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall is 31 miles away from us , well worth the drive, taking around 45 minutes with such beautiful scenery. You will not be disappointed.

Pistyll Rhaeadr is often referred to as one of the Seven Wonders of Wales. The waterfall is formed by the Afon Disgynfa falling in three stages over a 240-foot cliff-face, into the Afon Rhaeadr below. The tallest stage is estimated at about 40 metres.

For visitors, there is a small car park at the foot of the waterfall as well as a small café and it is a great place to explore the Berwyn Mountains (Berwyn comes from the Old Welsh ”bre”(hill) and ”gwyn”(shining white) and surrounding hills, with many walks on all levels to suit a variety of walkers.

A 3-mile circuit crosses the foot of the fall and returns to the car park via old quarry heaps and hillsides. A much more adventurous alternative climbs steeply on the right of the waterfall and continues uphill, as far as you want to go.

We were lucky enough to see the Aurora. We are in a fantastic dark skies area here as anyone who has visited us knows. Some people say that is a down side. For us it offers the most amazing skies, day and night. For me, the nights are my favourite, the stars, the moon, the shooting starts that we can make wish after wish. Lately we have been lucky enough to see these amazing shows in the sky. I hope when you visit us, especially if you come for 3 or 4 nights, although you might not see this, you can appreciate the nights and the wonder. We went to Aberystwyth for the evening which is not too far to go and had a wonderful view of the sunset, and then the coast line at night. Autumn can be a perfect time for a break.
