We are aware that many communities have woken up to significant smoke and haze this morning.
Our crews have been out investigating reports and have been unable to locate any local incidents. At this time, we believe the smoke is travelling from the wildfires currently burning in South Wales.

We would also ask everyone to help reduce the risk of fires during this exceptionally dry period by taking extra care when outdoors. Please avoid activities that could accidentally start a fire and follow any local safety advice.

Due to the smoke in the atmosphere, residents may wish to keep windows and doors closed where possible.
Thank you for your continued support and vigilance.

Rydym yn ymwybodol bod llawer o gymunedau wedi deffro i swm sylweddol o fwg a niwl y bore yma.
Mae ein criwiau wedi bod allan yn ymchwilio i adroddiadau, ac ar hyn o bryd rydym yn credu bod y mwg yn teithio o'r tanau gwyllt sy'n llosgi yn Ne Cymru.

Hoffem hefts ofyn i bawb helpu i leihau'r risg o danau yn ystod y cyfnod eithriadol o sych hwn drwy gymryd gofal ychwanegol pan fyddwch yn yr awyr agored. Ceisiwch osgoi unrhyw weithgareddau a allai gychwyn tân yn ddamweiniol a dilynwch unrhyw gyngor diogelwch lleol.

Oherwydd y mwg sydd yn yr atmosffer, efallai y bydd trigolion yn dymuno cadw ffenestri a drysau ar gau lle bo modd.
Diolch am eich cefnogaeth a'ch gwyliadwriaeth barhaus.
