Today, we have officially opened the first section of the Tywi Valley path

From Abergwili to Nantgaredig, the western section of the Tywi Valley Path is now open to walkers, wheelchair users and cyclists alike to enjoy a traffic free leisure activity through one of the most scenic areas of Wales.

Our Story

We moved as a family to this house 12 years ago. My mum, Gaina fell in love with the Towy Valley many years previously when she visited as a journalist. She looked down on the valley from the top of the church medieval church steeple and decided one day she’d live here. Llandeilo and Dyffryn Cennen has a great mix of old world charm and the benefits of modern life; easy access to most of South West Wales while feeling sleepy and secluded - not to mention the lovely friendly community!

The house needed a lot of work when we moved in and my dad, David has worked hard to make it what it is today, he’s put a lot of love into it, and made quite a few changes - the result is a comfortable and cosy cottage that has kept the original feel - emanating a quiet calm.

Most of the family has moved on now and so we’ve decided to share our love of this area with visitors, so welcome, croeso. Book a holiday here today and see for yourselves!
