Just hosted a lovely couple from Germany who are exploring North Wales. I was lucky enough that they chose to stay with me at The Stables.
They have gone on to stay near Abersoch and will then come back up to Snowdonia before going back home from Manchester Airport.

Our beautiful baby girl Indi – just 8 months old herself – has had a really rough few days. After giving birth to seven kittens (yes… seven 😳), her tiny body has just been pushed far too far.

She was rushed back to the vets today. She was pale, weak, and anaemic, if that wasn’t enough, yesterday she also developed severe diarrhoea. We’re talking really severe… to the point we were concerned dehydration would set in. Poor Indi was so unwell she couldn’t even keep herself clean, let alone care for her babies 😞 – we were genuinely worried. Thankfully, scans confirmed nothing has ruptured internally (small mercies!), but she’s now battling a nasty infection and is on a course of antibiotics and additional medication to help her recover.

Because of this, we’ve had to make the tough call to step in.

Three of her kittens have been taken for hand rearing – the biggest and strongest, who are feeding well. Indi simply doesn’t have the strength to support them all right now. The remaining four are still with her for now, and we’re monitoring them closely.

This means round-the-clock care on all fronts:
🐾 One foster up all night caring for Indi
🐾 Another volunteer hand-rearing tiny kittens every 2 hours
🐾 Constant monitoring, cleaning, feeding… no sleep, just love

And now… the bit we hate asking.

The vet bill for Indi alone is sitting at nearly £600 already 😩
Scans, bloods, consultation, medication – it adds up fast.

We are, quite frankly… brassic.

Every penny we have is being pulled towards urgent vet care right now, which means we’re struggling to cover the basics like food and supplies.

Indi is still just a baby herself, doing her absolute best in a situation she should never have been in. We’re doing everything we can to give her and her kittens a fighting chance… but we can’t do it alone.
