🦚 ELVIS IS IN THE BUILDING! 🦚

Well, he’s on it anyways! Here’s the handsome boy checking out his reflection and making sure that our guests here in Wellstone aren’t late for their day out.

His tail feathers are back after the winter and looking as handsome as ever, if you see him out and about on the yard, take in his magnificent colours!

There is some history around the Wellstone land. There once was a railway line that passed around the lower parts of our land, and here is one of the hidden historic parts that were left here when the railway shut.
This beautiful tunnel is small but still passable below and somewhere you can walk and make your route circular around the land.
Will you find it on your next visit?

Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Happy St David’s day!

Today, the 1st March, we here in Wales celebrate St David’s day. St. David was said to be giving a speech on the word of god in front of a crowd of people when the land beneath him rose.
St. David was buried in St David’s cathedral in Pembrokeshire, which can be visited today. St. David’s is known as the smallest city within the UK and we would highly recommend a visit when you call next! 🌼

By the end of February, the sun will set at around 6pm.
By the end of March, the sun will set at around 8pm.
By the end of April, the sun will set at around 8.45pm.

Being in the west means we get the best at the end of the day and there’s always a favourite place to enjoy that last bit of the sunlight! From the hills, with views right up to North Wales and if you’re lucky, the Irish coastline, to beaches, the coast or even from the comfort of the cottages, you can get that last breath of every day.

Summer will soon be here! Or at least a little bit of sun!

With 186 miles of Pembrokeshire coastline to take in, there is more than enough views to take in! This is Ceibwr, not too far from the witches cauldron, with some stunning views of the cliff formations and sea birds that call this home. If you’re lucky, you may even spot a seal or the odd dolphin!

❤️💚 The Northern Lights! 💚❤️
Last night, right above our heads here at Wellstone we had the night sky light up even more with colour as the Aurora Borealis was visible even to the naked eye!
It was a very rare occasion! And it was pure stunning!
