Beating the crowds recently at Ynyslas beach. This beautiful stretch of coastline is only half an hour from Sgubor Delyn and promises not only wide sandy beaches and rolling dunes but also a dog friendly cafe at a nearby caravan park for refreshments. At low tide you can walk 2.5 miles all the way along the coast to Borth.

Dogs are welcome at Ynyslas beach all year round (must be on a lead in the sand dune nature reserve).

Blue T**s and Woodpeckers are among the many birds that are often spotted here. It is an ideal place to see Red Kites too.

Welcome to 'Sgubor Delyn. Our newly renovated stone barn between Llanrhystud and Llangwyryfon (less than half an hour from Aberystwyth) is the perfect base for exploring the many beaches along the West Wales coastline, the coastal paths or the wild open moorland of Mynydd Bach (small mountain) or as a relaxing retreat in the tranquil countryside with the red kites flying overhead.
