I would like to tell u a bit of history off llanwrtyd.. In 1955 llanwrtyd wells, was the first in wales to set up pony trekking. Local farmers lending there ponies to visitors to enjoy the hills and mountains. In 1980 man v horse race was created. Where runners compete against riders on horse back over 22miles. This race has grown over the years with 650 runners and 60 horses competing which I have competed 3 times and crewed, well I have lost count.
Many off the bridleways we use pass though the route taken by the race.

Welcome to your guided rides with your own horse lots of bridleways to be discovered. All rides are made to measure for you and your horse. a gentle ride to really take in the lovely sights off the Llanwrtyd areas, to endurance specific training.
The rides can be from a hour upto 4 hrs we could even stop for lunch. The terrain is hilly some not so little!!! Forestry to open fields. And also a swim in the river with your horse at the local washpool.. which we would talk about before you book.
You could turn the ride into a holiday by stabling or corralling your horse over night. And a lovely b+b or hotel we also have a hostel and camping and lodges available for you in Llanwrtyd Wells area.
I can guide single rider to a group of friends up to 6 riders. I have facility's for parking your trailer/lorry at the start of our ride.
