Just after 10pm last night, the suns afterglow still bright in the North West. For a brief few minutes the arc burst into life with rays quite clear to the eye even through the twilight. Even more amazing was the wind had dropped and everything reflected beautifully in Loch Carnan. South Uist

The schools may have started back today here on the Outer Hebrides but we will still be offering our guided walks on Uist until 26th September.

Every Tuesday from 10am, we have our guided walk at Balranald Reserve, North Uist

Every Wednesday from 10am is the Land of Otters Walk from Langass Lodge, North Uist.

Every Thursday from 10am is the Land of Eagles walk at the Loch Druidibeg Local Reserve.

The Balranald and Land of Eagle walks are £3 for RSPB members and £6 for non-members

The Land of Otters walk is £5 for RSPB members and £10 for non-members.
