Imagine the cobblestones echoing the footsteps of countless souls since the Tithe Barn, commissioned by Lord Molyneux in 1524, cast its shadow over this bustling thoroughfare. By the time the industrial revolution roared to life in the early 19th century, the barn was long gone, giving way to a widening street that would embrace a burgeoning population.
